Knut GerlachKnut Gerlach, perhaps the first exchange student at Waseca Central High School in the 1958-59 school year, was found in Hannover, GER. He’s a recently retired university professor.

Talked on the phone with Larry Olson, Keith Graham, and Sharon Connolly Batt from WHS Class of 1959

I started verifying our WHS Class of 1959 contact information. Had fun talks with Larry Olson, Keith Graham, and Sharon Connolly Batt from WHS Class of 1959.

Larry Olson is retired from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR, and remains in Jonesboro. His email isn’t working right now but he plans to get it going. His sister, Cookie, has contact information for Knut Gerlach, our exchange student from Germany and I’m tracking that down.

Keith lives a stones-throw from me in Anoka and is in the process of retiring as a surveyor. He and his wife are starting a move to a farm with a Janesville address. The farm is in Iosco Township in the area of the old Slattery and Jewison family farms. Alas, no email.

Sharon and husband George Batt own and operate the Expressions Flower Shop in Wheaton, IL, and have for 20 years. Alas, no email either.

As apparent from the above, I fear we’ll discover that few of our class have email access or even an interest in email. The classes 10, or even 5, years later will have easier times finding wired classmates.
